The lacquer with mother of pearl and sea shells inlaid is an fine art in Vietnam. The mother of pearls usually have shinny white color, but under the sun light, the aged mother of pearls carry the beautiful rainbow color. They are cut and inlay into the lacquer piece to form the picture. The pictures can change the color depending on the light. Each painting is an exquisite piece of art. 
Each set contains four panels. Each panel is made of real wood, about 1" in thickness. They are made with selected, fine materials, and carefully inspected. The whole process from preparing the wood, applying multiple layer of raisin on wood to hand painting the detail, everything is hand made. It usually takes few months to make a set. 
Each piece has a sturdy hook on the back for easy wall mounting.
