The artists made these masks with the inspirations from the famous Vietnamese theatrical characters. Those folkloric characters are famous in Vietnam. They are holding cultural values to the daily lives and spiritual lives of Vietnamese people. These masks are authentic and unique!!!

These masks are made by the famous vietnamese artist Ngoc Vong. They are made out of wood and hand painted by the artist. He is one of the few mask masters living in Hanoi, north of Vietnam.
His masks are inspired by the Vietnamese theatrical characters. Each mask is hand made with passion.
We were lucky to be able to watch him working in his small workshop in Hanoi where this colletion come from.
